Job Description:
- Networking and troubleshooting
- Server management
- Software and OS installation
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Install and configure servers, networks, and software applications.
- Ensure proper system setup to meet organizational requirements.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect systems and data.
- Regularly update software and apply patches to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Monitor system performance and reliability.
- Optimize system performance through tuning and upgrades.
- Create and manage user accounts and permissions.
- Provide support for end-users, resolving access issues and other inquiries.
Skills Require:
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
- Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Virtualization: Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, HyperV).
- Cloud Services: Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and cloud management.
