Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual with a passion for software quality assurance to join and contribute to a dedicated and friendly team. We are looking for a Junior Software Tester who is eager to learn, grow, and play a vital role in delivering high- quality software solutions. As a core member of the Quality Assurance team, the candidate will work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that software applications meet customer expectations and performance standards.The ideal candidate is a motivated and resourceful individual with a basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. You should have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify and document software defects effectively. You will be hands-on executing test cases, reporting bugs, and collaborating with the development team to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. This role also involves supporting clients by troubleshooting issues and providing resolutions to ensure a positive user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manual and automated test cases to verify software functionality and performance.
- Identify, document, and track software defects in bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new updates do not impact existing functionality.
- Validate software against business and functional requirements.
- Provide client support by addressing software-related queries and issues.
- Document test results and maintain detailed test records for future reference.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and tools.
- Provide client support on issues raised and connecting with technical team to get resolutions
Skills Required:
- Basic understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages or database concepts is a plus.
- Atleast 2 years of experience in manual testing
